About Wild Systems

Wild Systems is an independent, owner-led business in Brisbane, Australia, founded and led by Ben Wild. We design and build bespoke, self-hosted AI operations infrastructure for businesses whose knowledge and coordination have outgrown their systems. This page is who we are and why we build the way we do.

Why Wild Systems exists

Most established businesses know more than they can reach. The answer to almost every operational question exists somewhere, in a document, an email thread, a system, or a senior person's head, but getting to it takes hours, or a meeting, or the one person who is on leave. That gap between what a business knows and what it can use is where margin leaks, commitments slip and growth stalls.

AI can close that gap, but the industry's default answer is to send your operational data to someone else's cloud and rent the intelligence back. For a business whose knowledge is its edge, that trade never sat right with us. So Wild Systems builds the other way: private AI infrastructure on hardware you own, inside your own network, where your data trains no one else's model and answers to no one else's terms of service.

Who you work with

Wild Systems is founded and led by Ben Wild. Owner-led is not a tagline here, it is the operating model: the person who scopes your build is the person who designs it, oversees it and answers for it. There is no sales layer to translate through and no delivery team you have never met. The judgement that quoted the work is the judgement that ships it.

Our anchor client is Soundsphere Studios, the immersive spatial audio company founded by three-time Grammy-winning producer Ron Thaler. Wild Systems is building the private AI operations layer behind Soundsphere's international rollout, with studios underway in Barcelona, Victoria (British Columbia) and Christchurch: three studios in three countries, served by one self-hosted core. That build is documented openly in the Soundsphere case study.

Wild Systems is independent. We hold no vendor allegiances and no platform partnerships, so the architecture is chosen for your operation, never for a partner program.

How we work

Every engagement is phased, with explicit exit points, so you are never buying a leap of faith. It starts with a paid discovery, a fixed-fee engagement of two to four weeks that diagnoses the operational failure costing you most and designs the fix. You keep the written diagnosis, recommended scope, architecture outline and fixed-price quote whether or not you proceed. Builds run ten to twenty-eight weeks depending on scope, deployed to hardware you own and billed at cost. After handover, you can run it yourself with the documentation, or we operate and improve it under a managed service.

The operating principle in every build is the same: AI assists, humans decide. Anything client-facing or commitment-making passes through a person before it happens.

The principles every build follows

Five commitments that hold across every industry, every scope and every engagement.

1

Self-hosted by default

Every build runs on hardware you own, inside your network. Your data never leaves your building and never trains a third-party model.

2

Humans decide

The AI drafts, surfaces and reconciles. Anything that reaches a client or commits the business passes through a person.

3

Bespoke, not templated

Every build is designed around the specific operational failure costing you most, on the systems you already run.

4

Phased, with exits

Discovery, build, managed service. You can stop at any boundary and keep everything produced up to that point.

5

You own everything

Hardware, data, models, code and documentation are yours from day one. The build outlives any relationship with us.
