Questions, answered straight

The questions businesses ask before engaging Wild Systems, answered plainly: cost, timelines, hardware, maintenance, and what happens to your build if we are gone. If yours is not here, the thirty-minute diagnosis exists to answer it.

What does a custom AI build cost?

Discovery is a fixed fee from AUD $6,000. Focused single-team builds typically start in the tens of thousands, and larger multi-division or multi-location deployments run into the hundreds of thousands. Pricing is determined by scope, never by package, and the discovery phase produces a fixed-price quote before you commit to anything larger. If you proceed to a build within thirty days, seventy percent of the discovery fee is credited to it.

How long does a build take?

Discovery runs two to four weeks. Builds run ten to twenty-eight weeks depending on scope. Every engagement is phased with explicit exit points, so the first working capability is scoped to prove its value early rather than at the end.

What hardware do we need, and who buys it?

You do not need to know. Discovery produces a hardware specification sized to your workload, the hardware is billed at cost with no markup, and it is ordered after kickoff. It lives inside your network, in your building or your rack, and it is yours.

What happens to the build if Wild Systems disappears?

It keeps running. You own the hardware, the data, the models and the code, and every build is handed over with documentation written so a competent engineer who has never met us can maintain it. This is the opposite of a cloud subscription, which stops existing when the vendor does.

Is self-hosted AI worse than cloud AI?

Not for this work. Operations tasks run on your own data, and a well-built private system with full access to that data outperforms a general-purpose cloud model that has never seen it. The trade-offs and the architecture are laid out plainly on our self-hosted AI page.

Will our data train anyone else's model?

No. Your data never leaves your network, is never sent to a third-party model provider, and is never used to train anything outside your walls. Access is role-restricted and logged.

Who maintains the system after handover?

Your choice. We offer an ongoing managed service with a twelve-month minimum covering operation, tuning and continuous improvement. Or your own team runs it using the documentation. Either way you are not locked to us.

Do you only work in Brisbane?

No. Wild Systems is based in Brisbane and works internationally. Our anchor build spans studios in Spain, Canada and New Zealand, served by one self-hosted core.

Which industries do you work with?

Manufacturing, professional services, creative industries, infrastructure and field services, construction and civil, transport and logistics, healthcare and allied health, aged care and disability, and mining and resources. The pattern matters more than the industry: scattered knowledge, manual coordination, and commitments that live in people's heads.

How do we start?

Book a thirty-minute operations diagnosis. It costs nothing, and it establishes what is costing you most and whether Wild Systems is the right answer. If it is, the next step is paid discovery.
